Job Summary

The Experienced Full Stack Provider Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for receiving and processing provider information from external sources, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of provider demographic and contract affiliation information within our health plan system. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities

* Receive and process provider information from external sources, including demographic and contract affiliation data

  • Validate provided information using knowledge and experience to ensure accuracy and integrity
  • Accurately enter and maintain provider records in our computer system, emphasizing precision and timeliness
  • Conduct regular audits of loaded provider records to ensure quality and financial accuracy, providing documented feedback when necessary
  • Support system/health plan integration efforts, including training existing staff and new hires
  • Assist in system-related testing activities to ensure seamless integration and functionality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes

Essential Qualifications

* 1+ years of managed care experience and/or medical office experience with coding or credentialing experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers
  • Adherence to Managed Care Organization's policies and confidentiality requirements
  • Reliable attendance based on the agreed-upon schedule
  • Understanding and compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers

* Experience working in a medical office setting, with a focus on provider credentialing or related positions

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software systems
  • Experience with data entry and management, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
