Requirements / Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CA Clear Multiple Subject (TK) Credential. • Must possess a full (ELA1) English Learner Authorization/CLAD Certificate. • Must be TK authorized: * Letter of verification of TK authorization, or * 24 semester units, degree major, or * PK3 teaching credential, or * Child Development Teacher Permit or higher • The employee is expected to maintain a high-speed internet connection. * All candidates must reside within our service areas, including Riverside, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino or Los Angeles Counties.

Salary Info

Based on education and number of years of relatable experience. Credit up to 10 years of previous full time CA teaching experience.

Comments and Other Information

Teachers in the Connection Academy are responsible for student engagement in a distance learning environment. They will provide daily synchronous instruction, small group intervention, ELD instruction, conduct PLP meetings as assigned, manage the complete educational experience for each student, review student learning, create online portfolios, proctor assessments, create report cards, and assign grades.
