Job Summary

As a Customer Care Administrator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our patients and clients receive the highest level of care and support. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients and clients through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Answering and routing incoming calls in a fast-paced medical environment, assessing and responding to customer information needs in an accurate, courteous, and competent manner
  • Processing appointment assignments through our company navigation software
  • Maintaining excellence in customer service by being compassionate, empathetic, and responsive to the needs of internal and external community
  • Ensuring patient and family confidentiality at all times
  • Providing a supportive atmosphere to people seeking information and assisting with program information
  • Continually building trust with community partners
  • Promoting leadership and teamwork within our organization

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

* Answer and route incoming calls in a fast-paced medical environment, assessing and responding to customer information needs in an accurate, courteous, and competent manner

  • Process appointment assignments through company navigation software
  • Maintain excellence in customer service by being compassionate, empathetic, and responsive to the needs of internal and external community
  • Ensure patient and family confidentiality at all times
  • Provide a supportive atmosphere to people seeking information and assist with program information
  • Continually build trust with community partners
  • Promote leadership and teamwork within our organization
  • Foster and maintain a professional relationship while building a strong rapport with patients and clients
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures to ensure exceptional customer experiences

Minimum Qualifications Required

* High school diploma or GED

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent typing and computer skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance regulations

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the healthcare industry

  • Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
