Your Day
As a Pharmaceutical Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will have a critical responsibility in maintaining precise medication and patient information for our long-term care facilities. Your role will involve:
- Ensuring that prescription data, patient profiles, and medication administration records (MARs) are consistently accurate and up-to-date, in line with facility-specific protocols and deadlines.
- Collaborating closely with facility staff to address special billing needs, refill requests, and medication-related issues.
- Maintaining effective communication with healthcare professionals and facility staff.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable company policies, procedures, and patient protocols.
Your Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional overtime or weekend work.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A pharmacy technician license or eligibility to a pharmacy technician program.
- Experience in data entry, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting serving long-term care facilities.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems, with a strong understanding of facility-specific requirements and workflows.
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices related to medication dispensing and documentation in long-term care settings.
- Willingness to comply with all applicable company policies, procedures, and patient protocols.
- Willingness to complete annual education online requirements.
- Willingness to abide by the code of conduct and ensure that all activities are conducted ethically following applicable laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
* Framework experience and additional education or certification in pharmacy technology or healthcare administration.
