Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative - Property and Casualty Insurance, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing inbound email, chat, and phone inquiries from pet parents to sell pet insurance policies
  • Managing time and other resources to ensure sales goals are met consistently
  • Handling all interactions promptly and effectively to minimize wait times
  • Building rapport with potential customers to reinforce the value of arenaflex's brand and our pet insurance products
  • Building strong knowledge of products and services offered

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Proven attendance reliability
  • Flexible schedule requirements, with the ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Current active resident property and casualty insurance license - General P&C, NOT Personal Lines - in a minimum of 25 to 50 states
  • Licenses must remain active throughout the duration of the assignment

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate:

  • Proven sales success within an inbound service environment, preferably a direct sales environment
  • Insurance industry sales experience
  • Service industry and/or Contact Center experience
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with deadlines
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and phone communication skills
  • Excellent tracking, follow-up, negotiating, and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently overcome objections
  • Articulate, professional, and possesses a strong quality sales mindset with attention to detail
  • Proven history of adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Strong computer background using MS Word, Excel, and Internet
