Inside Property Adjuster - National General

National General is a part of The Allstate Corporation, which offers a variety of insurance products. They are seeking an Inside Property Adjuster to investigate homeowners claims, determine coverage and damages, and negotiate claims independently while primarily working remotely.

Responsibilities

• For claims involving fraud or subrogation, partners with assigned reps from those areas to achieve best outcome
• Demonstrates intermediate understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department
• Handles investigation regarding most aspects of homeowner first party claims (coverage, damages, subrogation) with the exercise of discretion and independence within increased level of authority
• Recognizes and identifies key components of residential construction and repair
• Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
• Demonstrates a basic understanding of systems and technology used within the company
• Learns how to determine subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle
