About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Designing (DE) team, which is responsible for developing and sustaining data-driven solutions for our Media business. As a Data Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, data sets, and data visualization tools that support our business goals and drive business value.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, data sets, and data visualization tools using a range of technologies, including SQL, Python, Docker, and GitLab
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Science, Client, and Innovation, to develop and sustain data-driven solutions
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, including ETL/ELT, data approval processes, and data visualization strategies
- Work with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
- Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedulers to support data pipeline operations
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and maintain data sets and data visualizations
- Develop and maintain data governance and data quality processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
- Strong experience with Python and SQL, ideally with Snowflake
- Experience with cloud-based data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
- Experience with Docker and containerization
- Experience with source control systems, such as GitLab or GitHub
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality processes
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies
- Experience with cloud design and product development, ideally with AWS
- Experience with automated workflows and schedulers
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with data governance and data quality processes
