Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Software Engineer to join our Customer Systems team at arenaflex. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You'll work closely with our business stakeholders, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software that exceeds our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure software solutions using Java and Java-based technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets the needs of our customers
- Work closely with business stakeholders and product managers to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code meets arenaflex's coding standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry and apply that knowledge to improve our software solutions
- Collaborate with other engineers to design and implement new features and functionality
- Participate in the development of technical documentation and provide training to other engineers as needed
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on backend systems
- Strong understanding of Java and Java-based technologies, including Spring, REST, and multi-threading
- Experience with database design and data access technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, including Git
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on backend systems
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS and Azure
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts and technologies
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins and Ansible
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including secure coding and penetration testing
Skills and Competencies
