Experienced Part-time Remote Data Entry Specialist – Front Office Operations

This part-time opportunity offers the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with a regular schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you'll be an integral part of our front office operations, working closely with our team to ensure seamless communication and efficient data management.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position
As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing all functions and responsibilities of a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, including scheduling cases and invoicing cases
- Receiving cases, opening cases, and disinfecting cases for production
- Packing and shipping cases for delivery through local sources or national carriers
- Scheduling cases and performing the scheduling function for each case
- Entering demographics and customer information through our LIS system
- Printing preference notes matching to cases
- Moving cases into production areas
- Invoicing cases and assisting with billing questions or issues
- Scanning paperwork for each case for electronic storage
- Answering all incoming calls and responding to inquiries from customers' offices
- Referring technical inquiries to appropriate team members
- Performing all other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities Required
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Strong data entry and computer skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using software applications, including LIS systems
Minimum Education and Experience Required
* High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Some billing experience required
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used
* Disinfectant process chemicals
- Personal protective equipment as required
- Office equipment
Physical Requirements
* Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach
- Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Repeated bending and kneeling
- Vision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail, and/or color
- Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds
