The Role
As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you'll be part of a dynamic team that applies rigorous analytical techniques to drive business growth and inform content strategy. You'll work closely with our content team to analyze large-scale, high-dimensional data sets, identifying trends and patterns that inform business decisions. Your expertise will help us optimize our content portfolio, marketing strategies, and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced analytical techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) to large-scale, high-dimensional data sets to inform business decisions
- Analyze customer behavior (e.g., viewing patterns, engagement metrics) to identify untapped customer needs and new content opportunities
- Forecast content engagement to inform acquisition decisions
- Enhance our content launch and episode release strategy
- Test marketing strategies to optimize engagement and retention
- Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both strategic and tactical navigation
- Provide specialized analytical support to partners to drive business growth
- Effectively communicate insights and recommendations through compelling data storytelling across the organization
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on statistical analysis and AI techniques
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with R or Python programming languages
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical software (e.g., R, Python)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and apply creativity to complex problems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Good TO-HAVES
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and deep learning techniques
- Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)
