Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
* Responding to incoming calls, efficiently researching inquiries and delivering resolutions
* Processing a variety of billing and service requests, such as account number updates, payment modifications, premium documentation, refunds, and policy inquiries
* Managing manual premium payments through checks or direct account withdrawals
* Addressing information requests and overseeing public website inquiries
* Conducting insurance verifications and following up on outstanding items or funds
* Maintaining meticulous records of all customer interactions and transactions
Required Skills
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service (mandatory)
* Preferred: At least 1 year of accounting experience
* Experience in insurance or call center environments is advantageous
* Fluency in Spanish is a plus
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities
* Exceptional attention to detail and data entry skills
* Capacity to prioritize tasks and manage a demanding workload
