Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Experience: Engage with customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Operations: Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service. Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items.
  • Pharmacy Support: Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow, utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, and ensuring information is entered correctly.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
  • Customer Service: Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products.
  • Store Maintenance: Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
  • Training & Personal Development: Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification (PTCB) or state required certification/registration preferred.

  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy or customer service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Preferred Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy or customer service environment.

  • PTCB certification or state required certification/registration.
  • Experience with pharmacy systems and software.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Skills and Competencies

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
