Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Customer Service Agent – Data Entry & Ticketing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support. Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming and assisting customers with ticketing and baggage registration processes
• Utilizing a computer to sell, print, and reissue tickets
• Managing the registration process, ensuring that customers have the necessary documentation for travel
• Labeling baggage and performing lifting tasks that involve moving baggage from scales to transportation lines
• Practicing security-conscious behaviors in every operational cycle and system
• Using computers to assist customers with seat availability, gate announcements, loading process, flight status, checking and handling baggage, and managing and starting the loading process
• Practicing security-conscious behaviors in every operational cycle and system
• Working in a team environment and having the ability to understand and answer various questions about travel information
• Accompanying unaccompanied minors and disabled travelers throughout the airport
• Representing the company in a professional manner for extended periods

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift bags or items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Periodically lift bags or items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds
• Basic computer skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills using proper grammar, tone, and expression
• Ability to work a fixed or rotating schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Embracing diversity, thinking, and styles
• Reliably making safety and security, of self and others, the priority
• Ability to speak and write in English, both fluently
• Ability to speak and write in Spanish, both fluently
