Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and healthcare professionals. You will work in a remote data entry role, utilizing Walgreens' systems to acquire patient and medication data, and entering information into our database. Your primary focus will be on handling high-volume customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing accurate and timely information to patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

* Utilize Walgreens' solution information passage techniques and rules processes to enter new patient enrollment information into our database.

  • Handle patient medicine demands within HIPAA guidelines and enter top-off orders for processing.
  • Investigate to acquire missing prescription data, and decipher clinical truncations (SIG codes).
  • Settle all information passages related to special cases.
  • Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and resolve outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed.
  • Settle Outsider Oddballs by inspecting, gathering data, making revisions, and resubmitting for processing as per individual arrangement requirements.
  • Settle on phone calls to guarantors and others to gather data, gain abrogate endorsement, or otherwise settle the Outsider Oddballs.
  • Provide support to pharmacists, both those in the office and those in other areas.
  • Identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as necessary.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Basic level computer skills (e.g., start and close down computer, use the mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print reports, and access data online).
  • Basic web search skills to include opening a program, composing URLs in the right field, using a web search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
  • Middle-of-the-road keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing files).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • 18 years old or older.

Preferred Qualifications

* At least one year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment.

  • At least one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy professional with a license/enrollment by the state as granted by the state Board of Pharmacy or widely recognized certification organization.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
  • Middle to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, designing files).
  • Familiarity with Spanish and English.
