Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving inbound calls and placing outbound calls to existing customers to follow up on quotes, ensure customer satisfaction, and schedule maintenance
  • Identifying the reason for the customer's call, qualifying the customer, collecting relevant information, and scheduling service work appointments
  • Referencing premade scripts for a variety of customer service topics and using best practices in customer service techniques to develop rapport and build relationships with customers
  • Upselling products and services when appropriate and documenting all customer interactions
  • Assigning and dispatching technicians to customers' locations and communicating with customers via email
  • Participating in rotating on-call duties and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Call Center Representative or in a similar role (preferably in the service industry)
  • Excellent phone and verbal communication skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Understanding of active listening techniques and the ability to empathize with customers
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs (Service Titan experience a plus, but we will provide training)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
