A Day in the Life of a Lead Pharmacy Technician As a Lead Pharmacy Technician in our Front End department, you will play a vital role in leading and supporting our team of pharmacy technicians. Your day will be filled with a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including: * Collaborating with senior technicians to coordinate daily production of assigned areas, including data entry, customer service, and automation * Troubleshooting and assisting with front-end processes and workflow issues to identify solutions * Partnering with pharmacy leaders on team training plans and collaborating with field training teams as needed * Assisting in orientation, training, and education programs for all controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal laws The Team and Rewarding Benefits Our Omnicare pharmacy team is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our customers and their patients. Required Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: * Verifiable High School Diploma or GED * Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law * One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician Preferred Qualifications While not required, we encourage applicants with: * Prior experience in the long-term care industry * PTCB National Certification Education A verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: Minimum: $18.50 Maximum: $34.60 Please note that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
