  • Assisting students in the development of effective study habits and skills, including time management, organization, and test-taking strategies

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Reference from an instructor or professor if you are a current Olympic College student
  • High School Graduation, Equivalent, or Current Running Start Student
  • Basic Computer Competency, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications

Preferred qualifications include:

  • College teaching or previous tutoring experience, with a focus on CIS and related subjects
  • 3.5 or better in OC CIS networking or programming coursework (or equivalent from another institution)
  • Successful applicants will demonstrate excellence in digital literacy, critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and computer information systems
