Primary Responsibilities

As a Mandarin Bilingual Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Taking inbound calls from Members, Medical Facilities, Transportation Providers, and Health Plans to provide exceptional customer service and resolve inquiries
  • Accurately entering ride details to ensure successful ride completion and maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Confirming member eligibility and verifying information to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Answering Member inquiries regarding transportation services, addressing concerns, and providing solutions
  • Identifying and assessing Member's additional needs and providing personalized support
  • Intaking of Member concerns and escalating issues to internal departments as needed
  • Collaborating with internal teams to address real-time issues and ensure prompt resolution
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support the team and drive business success

Required Education and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • Fluency in Mandarin (verbal) to effectively communicate with Members and other stakeholders
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of inbound call center experience in a high-volume atmosphere, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in a high-stress environment
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively in person, via email, and over the phone
  • A positive and helpful attitude, with a strong focus on empathy and understanding
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and conflict resolution ability
  • Ability to work independently and/or with a team
  • Accurate typing skills of 35 wpm or more
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in business, strategy, and technology
  • Ability to empathize with the Member and/or Member's guardian
  • Willingness to work with geographically and culturally diverse populations and personalities

Job Requirements

To ensure success in this role, you must:

  • Be able to pass a criminal background record check and sanctions check
  • Be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Be available to work flexible shifts, including overnights and weekends
  • Possess a well-lit, dedicated, and quiet area for remote work without interruption or distraction
  • Have a notebook or desktop computer with a minimum processing speed of 1.6 GHz and 16 GB usable RAM available
  • Have high-speed broadband service (wired only) with a minimum of 150 Mbps in a dedicated (single person use) environment or 300 Mbps if in a shared environment (having a backup internet provider is a plus!)
