Informaticist
Informaticist needed for Valley View's IT team! General Objectives: Train and support clinicians in inpatient settings on clinical information systems and EHRs. Act as a liaison between healthcare staff and IT to deliver technical solutions that meet user needs. Develop, implement, and advise user-centric solutions based on business and clinical needs. Promote user-friendly, patient-centric innovations to improve patient outcomes and enhance clinical workflows. This is a primarily onsite position with the opportunity for remote work.
Qualifications
Education
- A bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field is required.
Licensure:
- Clinical licensure recognized to qualify for position: OT, PT, RDN, RN, or RT
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of healthcare business process/operational knowledge/acumen or equivalent.
- Experience and/or strong understanding of working in a clinical setting, particularly in acute care.
Skills:
- Strong technical skills with the ability to adapt to emerging technologies.
- Exceptional analysis, problem-solving, documentation, and training skills.
- Excellent oral/written communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency with remote work tools and project management.
- Ability to coordinate methods for optimal results and manage multiple tasks/projects.
- Knowledge of EHR/EMR systems and the ability to influence at the provider level.

Preferred:
- Experience in education/training.
- Informatics Certification.
SALARY RANGE
- $36.76 to $54.06/hour
