Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Data Analyst at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with internal clients and stakeholders to design and develop reporting solutions, analytic research, and packages that meet the company's needs
- Developing, validating, and executing complex queries, developing complex reports, and performing complex data analysis that answers business questions for internal clients
- Designing and developing packages for internal clients
- Evaluating data needs of assigned projects, ensuring data integrity and suitability, and determining data series methods, metrics definitions, and assessment methods
- Turning data into actionable insights through reporting solutions
- Troubleshooting technical issues
- Presenting evaluation and reports to internal clients and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- 2-4 years of experience in a related field, such as data analysis, business intelligence, or software development
- Experience with Microsoft Access (manipulating forms, tables, queries, etc.), Excel, Visual Basic for Applications
- Experience with reporting platforms, such as SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS)
- Development programming languages, such as ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript
- Development database languages, such as Transact SQL
- Database knowledge, such as MS SQL Server
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience with reporting platforms, such as WEBI (SAP BI Launchpad)
- Knowledge of blithequark systems, databases, and underlying data structures (e.g., ACAS, HMO, HRP, etc.)
- Database knowledge, such as Hadoop, Oracle
- Development database languages, such as Oracle PLSQL
- Crystal Reporting experience
Required Education
To be eligible for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
