About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Customer Service Representative to join our Online Business team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients through various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat. This is a full-time, remote position that offers a competitive hourly rate of $27-$35 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

As an Ecommerce Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing superb customer service to clients by responding to calls with an expert, insightful, and thoughtful attitude.
  • Answering client messages with clear, concise, and step-by-step guidelines.
  • Entering and examining data within various computer applications, including our online catalog (www.hobbylobby.com).
  • Processing and researching orders/requests.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned by management.

Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
  • Strong computer skills, with experience in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Great critical thinking skills, with the ability to adjust quickly to change and maintain attention to detail.
  • The ability to perform multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient grammar and writing skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is an asset.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:
  • Experience in a customer service or retail environment.
  • Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software or other design-related tools.
  • Experience with data entry and analysis.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces.
