Experienced Data Insights Analyst – Client Support Reporting and Analytics

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Insights Analyst, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

• Creating and Maintaining Client Support Dashboards and Reports: Develop and maintain worldwide client support dashboards and reports for both internal partners and vendor partners within various BI tools like Tableau.
• Collaborating with the Netflix Information Perception Group: Work closely with the Netflix Information Perception group to migrate ad-hoc Tableau dashboards into Netflix's custom data visualization tools.
• Analyzing and Interpreting Large Datasets: Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in client support data.
• Providing Level One Support to Vendor Partners: Offer level one support to vendor partners and data buyers, working closely with Information Design teams to ensure the timely resolution of data integrity issues.
• Training and Educating Clients: Teach and train clients on how to effectively use and interpret reports and data.
• Maintaining Cutting-Edge Documentation: Develop and maintain up-to-date documentation, including data dictionaries, report definitions, and best practices.
• Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with various cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements, business processes, and KPIs.
• Preparing and Presenting Executive-Level Reports: Prepare and present occasional executive-level reports on status, insights, and trends to inform and guide critical business decisions.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and business acumen, preferably in a client support or related functional setting.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Proven experience in creating complex reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide actionable insights to drive business improvements.
• Experience working with large datasets and performing data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Project/program management, process improvement, influencing, presenting, and consulting skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills – the ability to convey complex ideas in simple terms, engaging diverse audiences to drive results.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

• Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and big data technologies.
• Certification in data science, business analytics, or a related field.
• Experience with data storytelling and visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
