About the role

This is a high-impact, performance-driven role for a motivated ETF professional who thrives on variable compensation and measurable success. As VP of National Accounts, you will be directly responsible for securing platform placements and driving AUM inflows for Tidal’s ETF lineup across major platforms including Wirehouses, Independent Broker Dealers, Regional Broker Dealers and Banks.

This role is ideal for a well-connected industry player who knows the gatekeepers, understands the intricacies of platform onboarding, and is passionate about distributing new and growing ETFs on behalf of Tidal’s clients. Expect to travel, hustle, and be rewarded for results.

What you'll do

  • Platform Onboarding: Own the end-to-end approval process and seamlessly onboard Tidal client ETFs at major national accounts. Navigate internal platforms, compliance, and due diligence hurdles to drive product access.
  • AUM Growth Execution: Drive asset inflows into approved products through targeted campaigns, advisor education, and deep relationship management.
  • Key Account Management: Cultivate and expand strategic relationships across the top broker-dealer platforms. Be the “go-to” contact for Tidal’s platform engagement.
  • Internal Coordination: Collaborate with PMs, product, compliance, and marketing to align distribution efforts with fund positioning and messaging. Ensure readiness for advisor engagement.
  • Market Insight: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform strategic decision-making and client engagements.
  • Travel & Field Execution: Represent Tidal and our client ETFs on the road meeting advisors, attending branch meetings, hosting events, and being physically present where opportunities lie.
  • Pipeline Tracking & Reporting: Maintain a disciplined sales process with visibility into gatekeeper timelines, onboarding progress, and inflow tracking. Operate with accountability and urgency.

Qualifications

  • 10 + years of asset management or ETF sales experience, with a strong focus on platform distribution and gatekeeper relationship management. Background in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully onboarding funds onto major platforms and generating AUM through those channels.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in a performance-based environment.
  • Deep relationships across broker dealer platforms are essential
  • Highly entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and driven by variable compensation models.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence both internally and externally.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to meet key stakeholders and advisors in person.
  • Passion for ETFs and deep understanding of the current distribution landscape.
