Senior Event Marketing Manager

Remote role Full-time Open position

Tremendous is the fast, free, flexible way to send bulk payouts to people in over 200 countries. 10,000+ companies ranging from mom-and-pops to Google, MIT, and United Way have sent over $1 billion, saving 15 hours a month on average.

In both our product and our workplace, we’re intentional about making work more efficient, flexible, and fulfilling. Tremendous is a fully remote, high-documentation, low-meeting culture, which means more time for what matters in both your professional and personal life.

Our customers, who include marketers, researchers, HR teams, and nonprofits, rave about how quick and easy it is to use Tremendous — check the ratings on G2. Yet there’s a lot of complexity under the hood, including over 2,000 redemption options and plenty of banking infrastructure. This duality makes working here a fun challenge.

Tremendous is profitable and growing without outside investors. Join us before our next international offsite.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced B2B Senior Event Marketing Manager to oversee the deployment strategy, communications, logistics, and reporting for marketing-sponsored conferences and private events.

What you’ll do

  • Own the event roadmap: Manage event tiering, sponsorship selections, onsite activation plans, and staffing plans.

  • Drive cross-functional alignment: Secure cross-functional buy-in on event sponsorships from product marketing, demand gen, sales, and leadership.

  • Oversee event strategy: Set KPIs, tailor activation plans, and evaluate new sponsorship opportunities based on historical results, broader brand marketing and demand gen goals, and audience-specific considerations.

  • Project manage deployments: Establish structured project timelines, run kickoff and briefing meetings, collaborate with executional stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of all event-related assets.

  • Manage end-to-end event logistics: Handle vendor contracts, insurance and permits, badge registrations, booth setup/teardown, onsite printing, and private event coordination with the support of an event logistics vendor.

  • Lead onsite activations: Coordinate staffing schedules, vendor management, audience engagement, and brand activations at conferences and private events.

  • Measure and report on performance: Gather attendee feedback, compile post-event recaps, and provide data-driven recommendations to inform future sponsorships.

What you’ll bring

  • 5–8 years of B2B event marketing experience — international events a plus

  • Experience managing a high-volume event calendar (20+ events a year)

  • Prior strategic ownership over sponsorship decisions and onsite deployment strategies

  • Previous event budget management experience

  • Strong project management and communication skills

  • Highly proactive — you take ownership of complex projects, drive alignment, and see initiatives through with minimal oversight needed

  • Analytical mindset — you’re comfortable using data to evaluate performance and optimize strategy

  • Process-oriented — you look for ways to streamline workflows, remove stakeholder barriers, and improve cross-functional alignment

Why work with us

  • We’re profitable with plenty more opportunity ahead, which is good news for your career growth.

  • We offer competitive pay, equity and benefits. The base salary for this role is $140,000 - $180,000.

  • We're a fully remote company. Work from wherever you want in the United States.

  • We’ve got smart people and a great culture. See our company handbook.
