Java / Web Developer (with German)

Are you a passionate Java/Web Developer looking for an exciting opportunity to grow and work on impactful projects? We are seeking a highly motivated Java/Web Developer with at least basic knowledge of German (B1 level) and a willingness to improve. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while being part of a dynamic and friendly project team. You will work on challenging applications for major public organizations in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. We adhere to high standards in software development and offer continuous coaching and training to help you enhance your skills and experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Participating in the design and implementation of advanced web-based applications;
  • Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining large-scale applications;
  • Assuring effective team collaboration;
  • Adhering to software quality requirements;
  • Drafting technical documentation.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field or equivalent working experience;
  • Enthusiasm for programming and knowledge of Java;
  • Quality- and team-oriented;
  • Knowledge of German (at least B1) and English.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience in Java, front-end frameworks (e.g. Angular), web services (REST or SOAP), Spring Boot, micro-services, object-relational mapping (e.g. Hibernate), XML and/or databases (e.g. SQL) desired.
