Sr. Product Manager, Expansion, Amazon International Expansion

For our next phase of country expansion, we are developing new program, technical and business approaches to serve customers with the same price, selection, convenience in emerging regions as the ones we enjoy in existing stores. To do that, we are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter Sr. Product Manager for International Expansion. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, tax, regulatory and financial reporting. This role - that can be based in Austin, Texas or Seattle, Washington-, puts you right in the middle of the action to drive our efforts to reach more customers around the globe. About us: In Amazon Expansions, we aim to serve customers in emerging geographies. Our multi-cultural and diverse product and tech organization offers the chance to learn how Amazon works from inception, as we touch all areas related to the consumer business. We do more than product management; we design, implement and launch products for new countries, and we also own expansions programs end-to-end, partner with businesses and technology to identify new opportunities and collaborate with other teams to create alternatives for international customers.   • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience as a product manager or owner
  • Experience owning technology products

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
