Job Description: Blue Water Thinking is seeking a Solution Advisor to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. This role provides Cerner/Oracle Health expertise, supports knowledge transfer to VA stakeholders, and ensures workflows and solutions are optimized for successful deployment. Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional work experience
- Works independently in designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software for a healthcare/clinical environment
- Acts as a senior technical expert addressing systems integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics, and multiple platforms
- Responsible for ensuring project completion and delivery
- Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects and communicates recommendations to management
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field (an additional 10 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements)
Additional Qualifications:
- VA experience preferred
- Experience implementing Electronic Health Records
Eligibility:
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust clearance for this role
Compensation: Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below. Salary range: $140,000 – $155,000 Blue Water Thinking offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), paid time off, federal holidays, and a matching 401(k) plan.
