Are you a highly skilled artist with a passion for crafting stunning, immersive lighting experiences? We are seeking a Senior Technical Lighting Artist to join our growing creative team. As a Senior Technical Lighting Artist, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing lighting for interactive environments, games, and cinematic projects. You’ll work closely with art directors, environment artists, and technical teams to achieve visually compelling and performance-optimized results.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement lighting setups for both real-time and pre-rendered environments.

Collaborate with art, design, and technical teams to ensure artistic vision aligns with technical requirements.

Optimize lighting for performance across multiple platforms without compromising visual quality.

Troubleshoot and resolve lighting-related issues in assets and scenes.

Provide mentorship and feedback to junior lighting artists.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and rendering technologies.

Qualifications:

4+ years of professional experience in game development, VFX, or animation with a focus on lighting.

Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Unreal Engine, Unity, Maya, or similar.

Strong understanding of lighting principles, color theory, and PBR workflows.

Technical mindset with the ability to balance aesthetics and performance.

Knowledge of scripting (Python, MEL, or Blueprints) is a plus.

Strong communication and leadership skills.
