Program Manager – Design - Construction

We’ve got what you’re looking for. Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Program Manager with Design/Construction experience to join our team! What You'll Be Doing:
- Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project.
- Oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, Subcontracting Plan and other documents as required.
- Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the project, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria
- Assigns responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths
- Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors
- Manages contract deliverables.
- Manages Scope, tracks changes, and negotiates changes client and key subcontractors (in conjunction with the applicable contracts groups).
- Supports growth and business development opportunities.
- Provides input and development plans for subordinates.
- Mobilizes company resources to support a project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.
- Manages and controls the budgets, and assures accurate financial reporting.
- Familiar with change management, developing and negotiating for additional cost and/or time impacts when scope deviations arise. Accurately maintains change order logs and tracks risks that could affect project goals.
- Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.
- Manage subcontracts performing the field execution.
- Runs weekly meeting to review project status and formulate action items.
- Develops succession plan for key project roles.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- 15+ years of directly related work experience
- At least 10 years experience with FFP contracts of similar scale and complexity is ideal.
- Able to manage a major complex design build construction program.
- Advanced leadership skills with ability to perform in a management capacity.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Thorough knowledge of construction practices and regulations.
- Must be a US Citizen and able to clear requirements for access to the site.
- Able to manage to expedited schedules with recent track record as such.

- Working knowledge of federal, state, and county level construction requirements.
