Remote Pharmacy Technician - Appeals Department

In this critical role, you will work closely with Medicare and Medicaid patients, primarily focusing on Medicare cases. Your key responsibilities will include processing denied Prior Authorizations, reviewing case information, gathering additional details, and preparing cases for pharmacist review. You will also communicate directly with elderly members, addressing their concerns and resolving issues related to denied medications.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
- Pharmacy Technician experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficiency in computer systems
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Our ideal candidate is located in South or North Carolina, Arizona, Florida, or Alabama, and is available to work a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 8 PM (8-hour shift).
