Your Core Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Deep Market Expertise & Competitive Intelligence: Cultivating a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace landscape, including seasonal trends, global dynamics, and competitor activities. You will proactively monitor competitor strategies and identify emerging opportunities.
  • Strategic Seller Acquisition & Engagement: Identifying, researching, and proactively engaging high-potential sellers to join our platform through targeted outreach, participation in industry events, and compelling presentations.
  • Performance-Driven Seller Enablement: Providing expert guidance to sellers on best practices for online selling, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize delivery, enhance customer satisfaction, and achieve key business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Problem Solving: Actively participating in and influencing internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve seller challenges, ensuring a smooth and positive marketplace experience.
  • Marketplace Gap Analysis & GTM Strategy Development: Conducting thorough analysis of product selection gaps and developing and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies to attract key marketplace players and expand our product offerings.
  • Data-Driven Insights & Reporting: Analyzing marketplace data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Process Optimization & Efficiency Improvements: Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketplace operations.
  • Staying Ahead of Industry Trends: Continuously researching and evaluating new technologies and trends in the e-commerce and marketplace space.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Proven Sales Acumen: 1-3 years of successful enterprise-level sales experience, ideally within the e-commerce, technology, retail, or FMCG industries.
  • Results-Oriented Mindset: Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed sales targets through a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
  • Passion for E-commerce: A strong interest in promoting new products and offerings to new markets.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Workplace applications.
  • Adaptability & Resilience: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and maintain a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Commercial Judgment & Negotiation Skills: Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to analyze data, make sound judgments, and negotiate effectively.
  • Analytical & Quantitative Skills: Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Comfort with Data: Comfortable working with and interpreting complex economic data.
  • Leadership & Initiative: Ability to think strategically, take initiative, and lead in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Multitasking & Prioritization: Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
