Remote Customer Service Representative - Emergency Roadside Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our AAA Northern New England Emergency Roadside Team as a Remote Emergency Roadside Specialist. As a key member of our fast-paced, member-centric organization, you will provide exceptional service to our members, demonstrating empathy and effectively resolving high-tension situations.

In this exciting role, you will process requests for roadside assistance, utilizing your excellent communication and problem-solving skills to ensure our members receive prompt and reliable support. With a competitive starting salary of $17.85 per hour (plus a weekend shift differential of 10% = $19.64 per hour), you will enjoy a fulfilling career with a leading organization that values its employees and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Highlights:

• Full-time position (40 hours per week) with cover shift and swing shift hours available
• Virtual on-line paid training for 7 weeks (July training dates available)
• Applicants must live within 100 miles of Portland, ME
• Bilingual candidates (fluent in Spanish) will receive an additional $1.00 increase to their salary

Responsibilities:

• Process requests for roadside assistance in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Provide exceptional customer service to approximately 100 member calls per day
• Demonstrate concern for member safety and effectively diffuse high-tension situations
• Utilize computer systems and software to efficiently manage member requests and resolve issues

Requirements:

• 1 year of previous customer service experience (call center experience preferred but not mandatory)
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Successful completion of background and drug screening
• Ability to directly connect to ISP via Ethernet (no wireless, DSL, Satellite, or Hot Spots)
• Minimum 25 mbps download; 5 mbps upload
• Excellent written, verbal, and computer skills
