Customs Brokerage Representative III - Remote Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Customs Brokerage Representative III to join our team on a remote basis. As a key member of our customs brokerage team, you will be responsible for preparing and processing customs entries, communicating with clients and government agencies, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process customs entries, including classification and tariff schedules (HTS)
• Participate in government agencies clearances (PGA), Code of Regulations, and Customs regulations
• Interface with international and domestic carriers, overseas offices, and importers to forward freight to designated locations
• Communicate documentation discrepancies to clients and supervisors
• Coordinate freight delivery to designated locations
• Resolve finance and accounting reconciliation exchange issues
• Scan entries into the imaging system meeting allotted and sensitive time requirements
• Prepare reports, presentations, and analysis using various software packages and databases
• Establish and maintain client relationships
• Work a weekend schedule on a department rotation basis and holiday schedule based on the needs of the operation and account requirements

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or International equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working for a Customs Broker
• Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws, and regulations, and other government departments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Customers Broker License - Preferred
• Accurate and rapid data entry
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
