Job Summary:
We're looking for a seasoned DSO/Student Services Manager to oversee international student services operations, manage F-1 visa processes, and provide exceptional support to our international student community. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Designated School Official (DSO) for SEVIS and manage all aspects of F-1 visa compliance, including issuing I-20s and maintaining accurate student records.
- Provide expert guidance and support to international students on immigration matters, enrollment, and academic progress.
- Develop and implement student services initiatives to enhance the overall student experience.
- Collaborate with admissions, academic advisors, and faculty to support international student success.
- Ensure compliance with SEVP regulations and report updates in a timely manner.
- Organize virtual workshops and informational sessions for international students.
- Respond to student inquiries and resolve issues related to visas, housing, and academic concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, International Relations, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DSO or in student services, with expertise in F-1 visa processes.
- Knowledge of SEVIS and SEVP regulations is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
- Experience supporting international students in higher education is highly desirable.
