As a Material Attendant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our teams by ensuring that our stockrooms are organized, efficient, and stocked with the latest products.
Job Summary:
The Material Attendant is responsible for receiving, storing, and loading stock, as well as utilizing handheld technology to manage inventory. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and stock products using a handheld device
- Palletize and transport material
- Load and unload delivery trucks using a forklift
- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage
- Count and record material inventory using SAP stock management software
- Track and maintain accurate stock counts within recommended levels
- Process and fulfill requests for essential stock
- Label, sort, and wrap shipping materials
Requirements:
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Knowledge of SAP, Maximo, and the purchasing/receiving process
- Ability to set up stock, track inventory, and maintain stockroom organization
- Successful completion of required training, including forklift operation and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in standard office software and mobile electronic devices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Knowledge of operating power industrial trucks
- Experience with Wi-Fi handheld devices
