We are seeking an experienced ETL QA Test Engineer to join our team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across our data warehouse. As a key member of our data testing team, you will develop, maintain, and execute test cases to validate data integrity and identify discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases to validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across different data layers
• Test ETL processes to ensure correct data extraction, transformation, and loading from source to target systems, adhering to business rules
• Perform source-to-target data validation to ensure data integrity and identify discrepancies or data quality issues
• Develop automated data validation scripts using SQL, Python, or testing frameworks to streamline testing efforts
• Conduct testing in cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake) to ensure performance and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in QA, with 5+ years of experience in data testing
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data testing methodologies
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python) and testing frameworks
• Familiarity with ETL testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Informatica, Talend, dbt)
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
