Key Responsibilities:

• Teach AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A with in-depth knowledge and expertise
• Initiate, facilitate, and moderate engaging classroom discussions
• Prepare comprehensive course materials, including syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts
• Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and methods of instruction to ensure exceptional learning experiences
• Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to advise and assist students
• Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching issues and continuously improve our education services
• Positively reinforce student self-confidence and self-esteem, fostering a supportive learning environment

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 4-year undergraduate degree (BA, BS) or higher in Computer Science or a related field
• 2+ years of direct teaching or tutoring experience, with a proven track record of success
• Availability to work weekday afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages
