We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Educational Aid to support the educational activities at Pierce Terrace Elementary School, Fort Jackson, South Carolina. As an Educational Aid, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to teachers and students, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Distribute and collect testing materials as needed by students
- Grade and provide testing results using identified scoring techniques
- Monitor students during various phases of the school day
- Prepare instructional materials related to classroom lessons
- Provide tutoring to students in all subject areas
- Accompany and supervise students on field trips
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship required
- 2 years (60 semester hours) of education above high school or 1 year of progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work experience
- Ability to acquire knowledge and skills needed to perform duties of an Educational Aid
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement
- Direct deposit of pay is required
- Appointment subject to a suitability/fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation
Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $15.21 - $26.06 per hour

- Part-time position, 70 hours per bi-weekly pay period
