- Instruct students in Machine Tool and CNC skill areas, developing program and course outlines, goals, and objectives that align with state standards.
- Evaluate student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide constructive feedback to ensure students meet their goals and objectives.
- Maintain a safe and secure learning environment, adhering to all safety and security protocols.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans, incorporating hands-on lab instruction and utilizing technology to enhance student learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts.
- Utilize strong time management and organization skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university in Machine Tool Technology or related field, or a diploma in Machine Tool Technology from an accredited college or technical institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Conventional or CNC Machining fields.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Blue print reading capabilities.
- Teaching or training experience.
