About the Role

• Design, build, and operate large-scale distributed systems, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and technical program managers across teams to drive cross-functional initiatives
• Contribute to the development of our data infrastructure, including database access, data platform foundation, big data processing, and big data orchestration
• Participate in the open-source community, sharing our experiences and contributing to Netflix OSS

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems features or applications
• Proficient in the design and development of RESTful web services
• Experienced in building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems
• Knowledgeable in Java or other object-oriented programming languages
• Comfortable with multi-threading and concurrency
• BS in Computer Science or a related field
