Join the Worldwide Safety Assurance team at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, where creativity and innovation come together to create unforgettable experiences! We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Specialist to play a key role in driving safety and reducing risk within our organization. As a Project Specialist, you will be responsible for project planning, video analytics, data analysis, and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver projects that make a real impact.
This is a unique opportunity to work on a project basis, with a estimated end date of 9/27/2025, and be part of a team that prioritizes safety and excellence. You will report to the Team Leader, Video Analytics, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of video analytics projects.
About the Role
- Assist with project planning and execution, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies
- Implement video analytics solutions, including installation and configuration of hardware and software components
- Conduct data analysis and provide insights to improve operational efficiency and decision-making
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including audio/visual, engineering services, operations, and security teams
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide guidance and feedback to encourage achieving team and project goals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work 2nd and 3rd shifts
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts, API, and IoT integrated systems
- Smartsheet expertise
