Optum, a global leader in healthcare, is seeking a seasoned Senior Director to lead our Advisory Services team in Sustainability & Growth. As a key member of our Strategy and Transformation practice, you will oversee the delivery of consulting services to drive critical growth, strategic, and operational outcomes for our partner health systems. With a strong focus on sustainability, you will develop and implement roadmaps to realize identified opportunities, cultivate relationships with senior stakeholders, and drive accountability for effective program execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of sustainability and growth strategies for our partner health systems
• Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives and other key decision-makers
• Drive accountability for effective program execution, including quality of output, client satisfaction, and profitability
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including advisory sales and sales of other Optum services and capabilities
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in management consulting or a comparable role within a healthcare organization
• 5+ years of experience leading strategy and/or large-scale transformation work
• Proven track record of driving growth, improving profitability, and enhancing client satisfaction
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams
• Advanced understanding of health systems, provider organizations, and the healthcare industry
