Senior Manager, Category Marketing & Promo Planning - Remote Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager, Category Marketing & Promo Planning to lead our team in developing and executing category marketing strategies that drive sales growth and improve our overall value perception. As a key member of our marketing team, you will work closely with senior merchandising leadership to conceive, curate, and present innovative category strategies that grow profitable share and enhance our brand reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of differentiating messaging and promo strategies for prioritized DIY and Pro customer segments, leveraging consumer insights and a deep understanding of the competitive landscape
• Partner with merchandising, large vendor partners, and internal stakeholders to harmonize go-to-market plans and drive business results
• Manage a mid-sized team, providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to help them achieve their best
• Analyze and interpret data, including merchandising P&L data, to draw clear, actionable conclusions and build synthesized annual and quarterly objectives, strategies, and tactical plans
• Develop and execute promotional strategies with pricing partners and merchants, based on a strong understanding of customer value, economics, and competitive actions
• Presents the impact of category and promotional plans against goals and objectives to senior leadership

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a relevant field
• 7-8 years of marketing experience, with 5-7 years of category marketing leadership experience for consumer brands or retailers
• 5-7 years of leading brand marketing or integrated teams, with 3-5 years of running a P&L and/or working alongside P&L owners
• 3-5 years of developing messaging and promotional strategies and working cross-functionally
