Job Posting Title: Programmer Req ID: 10124237 Job Description: Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics (CIMA) is part of the Marketing organization for Disney Experiences. CIMA influences decision making with integrated, objective, and applicable insights. Within CIMA, the Consumer Insight Shared Services team drives value by delivering quality data and analytic technologies to promote a clear understanding of consumers and Guests that are used to identify improvement opportunities and influence essential strategies across the business. The Consumer Insight Technology team is responsible for programming and building research surveys that are leveraged in business evaluations, research, assessments, strategic planning, and business decisions across Disney Parks Experiences and Products. This individual will be part of a team that specializes in designing, programming, and maintaining surveys using Forsta survey platform. This individual will work closely with stakeholders to understand their survey requirements. Responsibilities: Survey Design and Programming:

  • Build and implement surveys within the Forsta platform, ensuring the logic and flow are aligned with the research specifications.
  • Customize surveys with question types, display logic, skip logic, and validations.
  • Work with partners to refine survey designs and incorporate feedback into the final programming.
  • Handle both online and mobile surveys, ensuring they are responsive and user-friendly across devices.
  • Apply HTML/CSS knowledge to support custom styling of surveys, email templates, and embedded content to enhance user experience.
  • Troubleshoot formatting and display issues related to email and web-based survey rendering across different browsers, devices, and email clients.

Data Quality Assurance:

  • Test and validate surveys to ensure they function correctly before deployment, identifying and fixing bugs.
  • Perform quality checks on survey data collection, including consistency and accuracy.

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

  • Communicate with project managers, researchers, and clients to understand project requirements and constraints.
  • Work with research analysts to ensure survey results are effectively captured and prepared for analysis.

Technical Support:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to survey programming.
  • Keep up to date with the latest Forsta platform updates, ensuring the surveys use the latest features and best practices.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor survey performance, gather feedback, and suggest improvements for future surveys.
  • Develop documentation and templates to streamline future survey programming tasks.

Basic Qualifications: Proficiency in Forsta:

  • Hands-on experience with Forstas survey platform is essential, particularly with the programming interface and survey flow.

Survey Programming:

  • Strong knowledge of creating complex survey logic, such as skip patterns, quotas, branching, and randomization.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and SQL for advanced survey customizations.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages for automated tasks or custom survey solutions.

Attention to Detail:

  • Ability to spot inconsistencies and logic errors within surveys and data.

Project Management Skills:

  • Experience managing multiple survey projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, translating technical details to non-technical audiences.

Problem-Solving:

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the survey programming process.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Medalla, Confirmit) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of market research methodologies, data visual visualization tools, and data collection best practices.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, SPSS, or R is beneficial.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field including Computer Science, Data Science or other quantitative field.

Preferred Education:

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field or working towards a master’s degree in a quantitative field.
