Job Summary The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving total group sales revenue by targeting corporate, incentive, association and SMERF market segments. This role includes developing and maintaining client relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring seamless event execution in collaboration with internal teams. Reporting to the Area Director of Group Sales, the Senior Sales Manager plays a vital role in achieving the resort’s sales goals and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Job Specifications Location: Remote or Onsite Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time Pay Range: $95,000 - $110,000/yr. + incentive bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including catering, events, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of group events and services.
  • Conduct site visits and sales presentations, showcasing the resort’s unique amenities and offerings.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to target high-potential markets and achieve sales objectives.
  • Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate client information, sales activity, and pipeline updates.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Represent the resort at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness.
  • Provide regular sales reports and performance metrics to the Area Director of Group Sales, including insights on key wins and opportunities.
  • Required minimum of 5-years of experience in hospitality sales, with a strong track record of achieving revenue targets, preferably at a luxury resort or hotel.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of sales strategies, market segmentation, and revenue management principles.
  • Proficiency with Delphi/Salesforce systems, property management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Flexibility to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
  • Preferred onsite but would consider hybrid remote role based in Midwest US location with existing
  • strong client relationships within that geographic location (especially with the incentive market).
