Medical Billing Specialist

You'll be working with internal team members and client staff to resolve reimbursement challenges and help craft strategies to improve reimbursement and internal processes. • Analyze, interpret and respond to incoming insurance denials
• Research outstanding aged account balances and coordinate with third party payers to ensure speedy resolution
• Train and consult with clients and key stakeholders to identify and prevent future reimbursement delays
• Generate reports and analyze key AR metrics
• Partner closely with Leadership Team to improve processes
• Develop training that positively impacts key AR metrics

SKILLS YOU'LL NEED:

• Ability to confidently draw from experience and apply potential solutions contextually
• Ability to articulate information and solutions in easy to understand language to clients and stakeholders
• Ability to think on feet to meet or exceed patient and client expectations
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Customer Focus: demonstrates a desire to proactively help internal/external customers meet their needs
• Tech-savviness and familiarity with billing systems and tools.
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of one year in medical billing or a related role.
• Experience working through AR processes is preferred.
• Comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems quickly.
