Job Details Job Details Our organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Joint Venture Accountant to join our Oil and Gas team. This role is pivotal in managing and maintaining the financial integrity of our joint ventures. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing financial insights, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This position requires a deep understanding of the Healthcare industry, a keen eye for detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, possessing a strong knowledge of Cost Centers, SAP, and JIB. Responsibilities 1. Oversee the financial operations of joint ventures, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. 2. Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP. 3. Manage the accounting and reporting for joint venture transactions, including capital calls, distributions, and partner allocations. 4. Work closely with joint venture partners to resolve any accounting or financial issues. 5. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. 6. Implement and manage cost centers to optimize efficiency and control costs. 7. Utilize SAP and JIB systems to streamline accounting processes and improve financial reporting. 8. Provide financial advice and guidance to joint venture partners and senior management. 9. Prepare and present financial analyses and reports to joint venture partners and senior management. 10. Continuously improve financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA or CMA certification is preferred. 2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in joint venture accounting, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry. 3. Proficient in the use of SAP and JIB systems. 4. Extensive knowledge of cost centers and their implementation. 5. Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles. 6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 7. Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. 8. Proven track record of improving financial processes and systems. 9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. 10. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple priorities.
