Role Description

The Product Marketing Manager, Science is a key player on a high-performing product marketing team. They view themselves as critical to the success of the product, sales, and marketing teams, and are energized by the opportunity to positively impact the lives of millions of students through Amplify’s science programs.

  • Act as the voice of the customer to inform product development and marketing strategy.
  • Develop deep knowledge of customer purchasing behaviors, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Synthesize insights for internal teams and use them to share roadmaps and marketing strategies.
  • Assist in developing Go-to-Market (GTM) plans for Amplify Science.
  • In collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams, contribute to the creation and execution of GTM strategies for product launches and enhancements.
  • Create sales and marketing collateral.
  • Lead the development of materials such as one-pagers, brochures, guides, FAQs, pitch decks, competitive battle cards, product demos, and other key sales enablement tools.
  • Partner with the Content & Growth Marketing team to plan and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Drive Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) by helping shape campaign strategy and writing compelling content for middle- and bottom- of- funnel efforts.
  • Lead product sample and demo strategy.
  • Own the strategy and execution of demo and nurture experiences that allow prospects to try Amplify Science and guide them from activation to purchase.
  • Coordinate product roadmap communication.
  • Work closely with Product Managers to align GTM efforts with product milestones.
  • Support product launches by developing messaging and tools that clearly convey the value of new features and editions.
  • Maintain product content across Amplify platforms.
  • Ensure the Amplify.com website and internal Sales Hub are consistently updated with the latest messaging, collateral, and tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in educational publishing or edtech marketing
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with strong attention to grammar, punctuation, and tone
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across varying levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated experience writing customer facing marketing and sales materials

Requirements

  • Prior success marketing K-12 education programs
  • Teaching experience in a K–8 classroom or comparable educational setting

  • The gross salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000.
  • This role is eligible to earn an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
