RCM Payer Project Specialist - Remote
Orsini Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a RCM Payer Project Specialist to provide support for payer-related projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in patient accounts, billing, and collections, and be familiar with AR and operational health care systems.
Requirements
- High School diploma required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in patient accounts, BV and / or collections with Major Medical Specialty Pharmacy infusion collections.
- Familiar with AR and operational health care systems.
- Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Familiar with the authorization process, appeal process and other processes/procedures integral to AR collection efforts.
- Experience with billing and foundation assistance application procedures.
- Able to multitask and utilize excel in a fast-paced working environment.
- Able to problem solve and assist coworkers through the thought process of solving problems.
- Collaborate on best practices for efficiency and streamlines communication throughout teams.
