We are seeking a Database Administrator to join our Business Applications team at Fourth! Fourth is looking to expand our global team managing our Enterprise Data. The team supports database systems supporting business reporting needs across Finance, Revenue Operations, and Customer Support.

Your daily job will include:

Support and Collaboration

· Analyze and resolve production database issues.

· Participate in a global team and collaborate efficiently across time zones.

· Help adopt agile methodology by helping to classify, quantify, and break down projects and tasks into incremental deliverables.

· Participate in database release management processes and coordinate maintenance of development, testing, and production environments.

· Work with other Business Application domain teams to develop specifications and deliver actionable insights.

· Review, update, and create quality documentation of processes and environments.

Design and Maintenance

· Maintain, review, and iterate on backup and recovery procedures, including verification and archiving.

· Collaborate with engineering teams to architect and implement database designs in accordance with best practices.

· Help improve the security of database platforms by advocating a "least privilege" posture.

· Review systems and execute enhancements required to support business compliance objectives (e.g., SOCII). Assist the business by providing data during audit sessions or as required.

· Configure and maintain replication solutions such as SQL Server transactional, merge, snapshot replication, and other types of data replication as needed.

· Research and advocate cloud offerings (i.e., PaaS and DBaaS) to increase operational efficiency and identify savings opportunities.

· Develop and maintain Power-BI dashboards for stakeholders across the business

Scripting and Automation

· Author T-SQL scripts to create or modify database objects, schema, stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views.

· Automation focused. Author scripts and leverage third-party software to automate repetitive or maintenance tasks. This includes vendor CLIs as well as PowerShell and other solutions.

· Experience utilizing Snowflake as both the primary data warehouse and transformation layer in the ETL stack

· Write and maintain DAX queries in Power-BI to aid reporting for various stakeholders

Required Skills:

· 3+ years of Microsoft SQL Server deployment and management,

· Substantial T-SQL scripting experience

· Working knowledge of SQL Server replication topologies

· SQL Server backup and recoveryexperience

· Experience with working in a cloud-based data warehouse previously

· Experience using source control (e.g., git, TFS, Azure DevOps)

· Experience writing DAX queries

· Experience developing and maintaining Power-BI dashboards

· Experience in a SaaS business working with datasets from either Salesforce, NetSuite, or something equivalent to one of the two
